On February 8, 2025, three legally registered emotional support animals — RJ, Lisana, and Daisy — were stolen from their home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Their owner, an adult with a documented learning disability and depression, has been searching for them ever since. A reward of $5,000 per cat ($15,000 total) is offered for information leading to their safe return.
About the Missing Cats
RJ is a 4-year-old male Ragdoll mix with cream/white fur and brown (seal) points, striking blue eyes, and an unusually fluffy tail. He was wearing a blue collar when last seen. RJ is microchipped and registered as an Emotional Support Animal with the National Service Animal Registry.
Lisana is a 3-year-old female Ragdoll mix with cream and white coloring. She has a calm, gentle demeanor and blue eyes. She is Daisy's mother and is also a registered ESA.
Daisy is a 1-year-old female Persian mix kitten with white/cream fluffy fur. She is RJ and Lisana's offspring. Despite her young age, she is a registered ESA providing critical medical support.
Where Were They Last Seen?
The cats were last seen at 808 Himmarshee St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 (Broward County). This disappearance has been reported to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, and the FBI Miami Field Office. All three are classified as stolen animals.
What is the Reward?
The owner is offering a $5,000 cash reward per cat — that's up to $15,000 total — for verifiable information leading to the safe physical return of any or all three cats. No questions will be asked. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
Why Does This Matter?
These are not just pets. RJ, Lisana, and Daisy are federally registered Emotional Support Animals prescribed for an adult with a learning disability and depression. Their abduction constitutes the theft of medical treatment. Every day without them causes real, documented harm.
